Whose work is holding this up

Almost nothing here was drawn from scratch. The planet is a photograph, the sky is a telescope's, the astronaut is a real man on a real spacewalk. Some of those licences ask for a name in return, and this is that page.

The astronaut

Bruce McCandless II, untethered — NASA, mission STS-41-B, February 1984. NASA imagery is in the public domain; the name is here because he earned it. On this site he is called Doll Armstrong, which is a joke about a different astronaut entirely.

The planet

Blue Marble and Earth at Night — NASA Earth Observatory / NASA's Visible Earth. Public domain.

The sky

The rocket

Space Shuttle by Poly by Google, licensed under CC BY 3.0. The model was re-subdivided, re-lit and given its own flames for this site; the original geometry is theirs.

The type

Fraunces by Phaedra Charles and Flavia Zimbardi, IBM Plex Mono by IBM, and Cinzel by Natanael Gama — all under the SIL Open Font License.
